ENGLISH BRINGS TOGETHER

 

    English is a tool to communicate not a purpose. By this project, they will need to use the language and they will use innovative methods in learning English instead of traditional ones. The activities in this project make students want to learn English. Our aim is to encourage the students to improve their skills in English. We want to see our students more willing to learn it. In our project we have 13 partners from Kocaeli, Samsun, Aydın, Şırnak, Yozgat in Turkey, Romania, Spain, Portugal. We will be planning different activities such as intercultural activities, games, stories, comics, videos, etc. We will;

•  improve students' four basic language skills in English
• develop students' digital competences
• improve cooperative learning by integrating technology and Web 2.0 tools
• promote a student-centered learning.
• develop students' self-confidence and creativity,
• increase their motivation in learning second language learning,
• give students the opportunity to get to know different cities, cultures and schools and make new friends.
• use new applications, teaching techniques and Web 2.0 tools
• develope critical thinking and solve problems.

By the end of this project;

• We will improve their language skills in English
• We will develop their empathy/respect for other individuals
• The students will feel themselves more comfortable in English and Web 2.0 tools.
• We will become aware of online safety.
• The students’ self-confidence will improve.
• The students will enjoy while learning.
• The students will share their opinions with others
• The students will need to use the language.

We will have an e book at the end of this project.
